Inspire Your Mind

from Syndal Baptist Church Audio · host Mike Riddell

RESOLVE OverviewThe beginning of a new year often promotes with us various desires to start something new or change something old - really just to live our lives a little differently than before. But as 2019 begins- what would it look like to not just make, but also keep, meaningful resolutions this coming year? Moreover, how does faith shape and sustain these resolutions as we individually and collectively seek to follow Jesus. This January- across our English services, we’re going to be exploring what it means to look after your body, strengthen your mind, inspire your soul and deepen your relationships, things which we were all created to do.Week 3: Inspire Your Soul Mike RiddellOne of the astounding thoughts is that as humans- there’s more to us than just skin and bones. We’re created with souls which are wired to be connected with God.But just as our souls can be inspired by our Creator, it can also be oriented towards other people and other things. Our world recognises the influence and value of the human soul, yet often prescribes remedies and lifestyles which fail to ultimately deliver what we were made to be.So what does it look like for our souls to be inspired in way that keeps us growing and developing into the people that we were created to become?Join us this Sunday as we continue our Resolve series and consider what it might look like to inspire your soul
