Inspiring and Encouraging Your Children to Be BRAVE with Author Kathleen Davis

Kathleen Davis is a retired teacher, wife, and mother of three.  She has her masters in Elementary Education and her undergraduate degree in Advertising from the University of Florida.  She spent much of her teaching career searching for and reading good children’s books to her students. She believes that books can allow even small children to see things completely differently and encourage them to feel safe and loved. She wrote BRAVE in response to her two small children’s fears at bedtime.  They were not brave, and in fact were terrified and waking up throughout the night.  She thought there was no way that her children were the only ones dealing with these fears.  BRAVE is meant to help inspire and encourage children to realize there is nothing to fear.
