Although first responders would never say they are heroes, for those of us who experience their bravery and selflessness, we know they are filled with integrity. It is little surprise that soldiers, firefighters, police officers, EMTs, emergency room nurses, and other first responders suffer immeasurably as a result of what they see and experience.
