Intellectual Property – A Voluntary View 018

from A Voluntary View - Voluntaryism In Action Hosted by VIA

Today our extra-special guest is Nina Prevot, a trademark and entertainment attorney. She joins Jeff to discuss intellectual property (IP), something that is a point of contention between libertarians/anarchists and many artists, authors, and other creatives. Together, Jeff and Nina explore the US laws regulating IP, what they get right and what they get wrong, and how free market alternatives to government enforcement of IP might function. We’ve been trying to get Nina on the show for several months, and we were finally able to connect while she was traveling. The hotel internet connection isn’t the greatest, but we decided to make it happen anyway.
