Intelligent Faith: Is The Death And Resurrection Of Christ A Historical Fact

Now that we've been able to prove that the prophecies about the most significant event to have occurred on earth i.e. the death and resurrection of Jesus antedated those events, can we say for certain that the death and resurrection of Jesus is actually historical event or just a religious myth? Did the apostles really give up their lives one after another for a lie?
