The thoughts, desires and challenges that preoccupy our minds can prevent us from giving God praise even though we acknowledge His work in our lives. Praise should be the first thing we do when we see and receive the favor of God such as life, food, and the list goes on, irrespective of whether it meets our desire or not, we must praise God for it because like Leah, what God has favored us with, someone is barren of it like Rachel.
