Interdimensional Drifters - Channelled Scablands

from Darkfloor Sound · host Darkfloor Sound

Seismic, sludgy bass guitar riffs bring to bear on ‘Channelled Scablands’ in an evocation of the kind of geological events that occur on our planet - dwarfing humanity’s timeframe and scale of influence. Drenching the progression and melodies in strained feedback and noise ‘Paintings On The Cave In Your Cranium’ pays tribute to the long ingrained artistic preferences of the Drifters, and to the themes and obsession constants of human history. FFO : Godflesh, Joy Division, Killing Joke, Neurosis, Sonic Youth Part 2 of 3.
