The Collaborative Medicine and Science (CoMS) framework is a new way of thinking about health and medicine that respects and uses the strengths of different knowledge systems. Its goal is to build a bridge between Ayurveda, one of the world's oldest and most comprehensive traditional medical systems, and contemporary medical practices. CoMS aims to achieve this goal by facilitating a genuine dialogue between different systems of knowledge. This is not done by forcing one system to conform to the other, but by finding common ground and creating new conceptual frameworks that can accommodate both systems.
