On Thursday, Interim Dallas police Chief Michael Igo asserted that his officers will help federal authorities arrest anyone wanted for a crime, clarifying a viral remark he made about immigration enforcement after receiving national criticism. Igo read from a prepared statement at Dallas police headquarters “the Dallas Police Department continues to fulfill all of its duties and obligations to enforce state and local laws — while protecting the constitutional rights of all people.” In other news,Texas might have a personal debt problem.
