International Arrow, Susan Stone, her love for Adelaide and her newly created role at the University of South Australia

In this episode we speak to Dr Susan Stone, who moved to Adelaide in July 2022 to join the University of South Australia in a newly created role, Credit Union SA Chair of Economics. Susan is an experienced economic analyst and communicator with a keen interest in how things work - especially when trying to juggle competing interests like growth and sustainability. She undertakes research and outreach on issues of importance to South Australians, notably that deal with the economy.Susan has worked with international organisations, government officials, the business community and academics in countries as diverse as Australia, Bangladesh, China PR, India, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Pakistan, Thailand, USA, and in many EU member States providing advice and support for policy development.Susan delves into why her husband and her chose Adelaide to live and work in, noting that lifestyle was an important factor for them.  Of all the places they have lived in, Adelaide is highly regarded, and one that they plan to stay in for many years to come. Thank you Susan for sharing your passion for this state.
