Alys Daroy is the Artistic Director of Shakespeare South Australia, the State’s only dedicated Shakespeare company. Adelaide-born Alys has over 15 years experience in the UK, Europe and Australia in Shakespearean performance and research, including for Shakespeare’s Globe and the Cambridge Shakespeare Festival. She is currently co-authoring a book with Professor Paul Prescott (Merced, California) titled ’Shakespeare, Ecology, Adaptation’ for Bloomsbury Arden Shakespeare and completing her PhD in Shakespeare and Ecology at Monash and Warwick Universities.
