It was certain yesterday at the end of the African National Congress’ national policy that the ruling party of South Africa will forge on with its decision to withdraw from the Rome Statute. This announcement was highlighted yesterday by the ANC; a day before the International Criminal Court will decide today whether South Africa violated their rules by failing to arrst Sudan’s President Omar Al’ Bashir. In February, the High Court in Pretoria ruled that government's decision was unconstitutional and invalid.To assist us on this we are joined by: • Ms Kaajal Ramjathan-Keogh, the executive director of the Southern Africa Litigation Centre • Lewis Mudge, HRW researcher • Dumile Matheza, SABC journalist who has been looking at the ICC
