Assume also that an object we send out of the solar system WILL be found by an intelligent space-faring society. The Object is a Granite block 10 feet by 10 feet by 2 feet thick with 12 compartments around its outer edges. Since it will survive the death of our sun and the eventual destruction of the earth, what would you carve on its surface, and what would you place in the sealed compartments as evidence of who we were?
