Welcome to the Tweet Trends podcast. Hey, Evette, what's trending today? Hey, I'm Evette, hey girl, and you are tuned in to Tweet Trends. It's the quickest way to find out what's trending today.

It's international joke A. Let's get started. Yep, it is international joke A, and normally I would end the show with whatever recommendations I have, but this time I'm going to start the show with my recommendation. I recommend that each and every one of you that's listening to this podcast go out and learn a joke.

Learn a joke, let that be your signature joke, and you use it whenever you see fit. The mood is kind of dull somewhere you are. Throw that little joke in and see if it can get a few people at least smiling, especially if it's a corny joke, because some of the corny jokes make for the best laughs. I'm telling you.

And then on top of that, next thing I want you to do is to reach out to an old friend, somebody that you have shared many a laugh with over the years. Reach out to that friend, chat with them on the phone for a little bit, be like, hey, it's been a long time, and just reminisce, talk about the old days or whatever, and I guarantee you somewhere in that conversation, something funny is going to be said, and you are going to have the best laugh of your day of the month of your year. You are going to have the best belly laugh coming out of you. And I mean, when you have those types of situations, when you walk away from it, like you hang up the phone and you sit there and you think back on the call, you're like, man, that was the best laugh I've had in a long time.

Or, man, I really needed that. That felt so good to just be laughing like that. That's what I want for you today. To start off the month of July, get out there, reach out to a friend, come up with your own joke to use at your will whenever you feel like it.

Throw that joke in and see if you can't brighten somebody's day, or it might even brighten your own day because you may end up laughing because nobody thinks it is funny, but you. Hey, Brielle, what's your best joke? My best joke is why did the scientists not have a bell? Why did the scientists not have a bell?

Yes. Oh, I don't know why. Because he wanted to win the Nobel Peace Prize. Yeah, that was a good one.

You know what? The person that invents it, not jokes, they should be at four Nobel Prizes too. In an effort to work on my funny, I'm going to test out a few jokes on you. Let me know what you think.

Before I get started though, I got a question for you. If you don't pay your exorcist, do you get repossessed? Why did the old man fall in the well? Because he couldn't see that well.

Where do you, no, not where. What do you call a paper airplane that can't fly? Wait for it. Dationary.

Get open. I want to laugh at my own jokes. I'm not supposed to laugh at my own jokes. All right, put it together.

Let's get going. Here we go. Oh, I tell you, muggers are jerks, but you still got a hand at to them. Okay, but seriously, on a serious note, everyone has a side hustle nowadays.

So I tried to start a professional hide and seek team, but it didn't really work out that well because turns out good players are hard to find. Let's close out today's episode with a real life joke. Yes, this is a real deal thing. In my opinion, it is funny as all get out.

It's like the funniest thing that I have heard today and it just so happens to be on International Joke Day. So on the Wendy Williams show today, during her hot topic segment, she decided she was going to come for Ms. Tabitha Brown. Now when I tell you Ms.

Brown, Ms. Tabitha, she has got to be the sweetest person that I have never met. And if you don't know who she is, she's known for her loving demeanor and she's very honest. She does these food reviews and or she might show you how to cook something.

She's vegan, so she shares these vegan recipes with you and everything. I was first introduced to her on TikTok. However, she has been out and about and around for quite some time. She's an actress, but she's never really had a real serious role.

But this was her life dream. By way of these various viral videos that she's had, now she's at a point where she has been on all these different morning shows. She's been on Ellen, GMA, Sarah and Kiki, Buzzfeed, Tasty, now this food, all these different things, right? And Wendy Williams decided to come for this lady.

Now I know there's nobody under the sun that is perfect, but when I say Ms. Tabitha is the sweetest person, come on, hello there. She starts off her little thing, get to talking to you, you'll be like, thank you Ms. Tabitha, I needed that word today.

Well, so over the weekend, Ms. Brown posted something on her social media basically saying that this dream that she had put on her vision board has finally come true. She with her husband, they made a pact and was like, okay, when I get to a place in my career, I want to help you to be able to retire from your career. This was her wish for her husband to be able to help him to retire.

He's a LAPD police officer. And she did that. Now granted, she wanted it to happen in five years. It took 15.

Well, your time ain't God's time. So, hey, it happened. And don't you know, Wendy Williams had something negative to say about this lady's video. Basically putting mouth on this girl.

Yes, I'm from the south and we didn't know about putting mouth on people. She put mouth on this girl talking about her marriage is going to crumble like Wendy's one did. Wendy, you have got to be on something now. You weren't before.

My goodness. First of all, who does that? So you're trying to say because she was because now that Tabitha Brown is in a place where she is making a considerable amount of money and her husband can now retire, you're putting the two of them in your situation, the situation you had with Kevin. That's apples and oranges, sweetheart.

You can't compare that. Now, granted, I don't know Miss Brown and her husband to know if they are anywhere close to what you guys are or where should I say. However, the stuff that's put out in the atmosphere about them speaks nothing to even resemble a little bit like what the two of y'all had going on. How do you do that?

But you know, I look at it from the standpoint of Wendy needs ratings. Who's doing big things out there? Miss Tabitha Brown is doing big things out there. This woman.

So in most cases, when somebody says something about another person, celebrity-wise, the other person usually for real for real collapsed back, right? Not Miss Tabitha Brown. Did she address it? Yes, she did.

So she got on and made another video basically saying she was enjoying her day and then her phone starts blowing up and everybody is telling her, girl, they're talking about you on Wendy. They're talking about you on Wendy. And so when she found out what it was, when I tell you Miss Tabitha Brown prayed for Wendy? Oh my goodness.

And it's one of them prayers where she, cussing her out wasn't going to do justice. This prayer right here did it all. It said it all. It was she prayed that Wendy would find that person that loved her for who she is and what she was and all of that good stuff and that she would be able to feel that kind of love, the same type of love that Miss Tabitha is feeling and the situation with her and her husband and how this was an agreement that they made together and that God is first in their relationship.

It's not money. It's not fame. It's not fortune. God is first in her relationship.

This happens to have to come out and say it in so many words, but it's like, let me show you where you went wrong, honey. And this is my own personal translation, right? Let me show you where you went wrong. And then the next person you meet, try to implement some of these things and maybe, just maybe, you will be blessed beyond, beyond, beyond anything you could ever think, dream or imagine, just like me, honey child.

Man, when I tell you that thing was poetic, I listen to it. I know a couple of times over. Miss Tabitha, hats off to you because you are, we need more people in the world like you. Alright, well that was today's episode of Tweet Trends.

Do me a favor, get on out there and enjoy your international joke day. Get it in, get your laugh on, all that good stuff. But, but, if somebody thinks that they're going to come in and try to flip the script and put the joke on you, go ahead and Matthew 544, love them and pray for them because that little bit of a claim or those few little chuckles that they get off of trying to make you into the joke, guess what? It's going to flip right back on them and they are going to be the laughing stock.

Okay? So, don't even worry about that. Instead, you focus on learning your joke so that you can have your one liner to kind of throw in a conversation to kind of spice things up or go ahead and call a friend, someone you got those good inside jokes with and just go ahead, get the conversation going, get it flowing, get that good belly laugh in, it's going to let off all that stress and strain, any struggles you may have been going through for that moment in time, it's going to be lifted off your shoulders and you are going to feel so great. Enjoy this international joke day and I'll see you guys next week on Tuesday.
