International Poetry Day

from RUNNIN WITH ROSEA · host URosarioRadio

Today we were live from the FILBO, which is taking place from April 25th to May 8th in Corferias, Bogota, Colombia. The show was dedicated to Poetry having in mind World Poetry Day was March 21st, and National Poetry Month in the USA was in April. We had Menes La Plume, a poet, writer and musician form Congo, who studied letters and sciences, lives in Lilongwe, Malawi (Africa) and is the organizer of the Poetry Festival that takes place every year at Dzaleka Refugee Camp in Mozambique, Africa as a special guest. We also had Nick share with us his poems of the weeks; profound letters and words full of emotions. Paola´s songs of the week, a list of songs that produce an image and evoke an emotion. And last, but not least, we had Christina reading a Spoken Word poem, (make sure you don´t miss this wonderful moment) along with some fun facts about this specific type of poetry. Enjoy!Host Nicholas Allen and Paola Castellanos
