On the final episode of Season 4 Matt is joined by James McCrae. James is an author, poet, meme artist, and creative strategist based in Austin, Texas. In his writing and art, he applies the principles of mindfulness and Eastern philosophy to modern life with humor and candor. He is the author of two books: Sh#t Your Ego Says, an autobiographical guidebook for quieting negative self-talk and reconnecting with intuition, and How to Laugh in Ironic Amusement During Your Existential Crisis, a book of poetry and memes about leaving your comfort zone to embrace the unknown. On his popular Instagram page (@wordsarevibrations) James shares daily memes, poems, and illustrations that delight and inspire his audience. He also hosts Words Are Vibrations, a podcast that explores the intersection of creativity, consciousness, and culture. During the podcast the two weave between topics such as: lyrics as poetry, coming to the spiritual path, experiences with "God" or "The Divine", interpreting the ineffable experiences psychedelics illicit, integration, synchronicities, conspiracy theories, and animism, among other heady topics. *Easter Egg that was forgotten during the pod: "Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists. Herein lies the peace of God."* Thank you for listening to this season. The show will return after a while. Farewell until then and much love.
