Dr. Mathis teaches on various subjects such as New Testament Survey, NT Greek, Spiritual Formation, etc. Dr. Mathis is also the Director for Faculty Excellence and the Dean of Faculty Development at NGU. Dr. Mathis serves as a Pastor at Christ Fellowship Cherrydale and has decades of both preaching and teaching experience. Dr. Mathis has a bachelor's degree from Kentucky and both an MDiv and PhD from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. In this episode we discuss the original languages of the Bible, interpreting Paul's Letters, and understanding the Old Testament Law.
