Interpreting Scripture: Understanding Negatives

They explain how some questions function as emphatic denials and how simple negatives often imply a strong positive. Through examples from Job and Matthew, they show why slowing down to notice a single word like not can completely change the meaning of a passage and guard us from drawing the opposite conclusion of what the text teaches.
