She is a former Senior Veterinary Officer in Uttarakhand Government. She is  a specialization in Veterinary Surgery & Radiology and additional expertise in Advanced Wildlife Management. She also has  been certified as Trainer by NTCA (National Tiger Conservation Authority) for Tiger capture and translocation.
