Interview by Ilaria Conti | Research and Policy Coordinator, Florence School of Regulation Recorded 18 May 2015, at the FSR Regulatory Policy Workshop, A Target Model for Electricity Capacity Remuneration Schemes, in Florence, Italy. “That I think is the challenge, to make sure that the Capacity Remuneration Mechanisms are not a patch to a temporary problem, but to see how you can augment the target model that we have, with some sort of mechanisms to deal with adequacy issues, if we come to the view that this is necessary.” “the results of the last enquiry sparkled the 3rd package, now I don’t think we need a 4th package, but defiantly we need to look at the target model that we have, and see which additional components we may need, in order to make sure that all concerns and all challenges are addressed.”
