Janice Telgt kan helaas uit eigen ervaring vertellen wat woorden met je doen. Haar man overleed aan aids en zelf is ze besmet met het hiv-virus. Lange tijd was ze 'de vrouw van die man met aids'. Aids en hiv hebben een enorm stigma, vooral in het land van herkomst, Suriname. Het is haar missie om dat te doorbreken. Door zich te verdiepen in het geloof en in hiv, vond ze de kracht om door te gaan. 🙌
