INTERVIEW: Lions TE Tyler Conklin on playing in hometown, switching from hoops to football at age 18

INTERVIEW: Tyler Conklin is back in Michigan, playing for his hometown Lions. He played college basketball his freshman year at Northwood, and decided to switch to football while watching a Michigan State game on TV.Eight NFL seasons under his belt, the L'Anse Creuse North High School graduate has family and friends elated to see him in the Honolulu blue."Being able to live at home and drive down to work, and play for the hometown team, it's a cool feeling," Conklin said."I'm pumped. Even the preseason game at home, driving the highways and roads I've drove my whole life...
