Following their last album release in 2018, Stormcast are now ready to release their brand-new album entitled ‘Tremors in the Ether’ on November 29th, 2024. Known for their atmospheric and emotionally charged blend of extreme/melodic metal, Stormcast formed in 2007 and have released two previous albums (Frame of Mind – 2014 & The Ghost Eater – 2018). Around those releases they have played countless shows including major festivals like MetalDays Festival 2013, Mammothfest 2015, and Bloodstock Festival 2019. The latter of which is where we first met and interviewed the band (watch that interview here). It has been a while, but they are back and it’s this return we discuss in this interview with vocalist and guitarist, Mike Angastiniotis.
