Interview: Mina Blair

from The Joanne Avison Podcast · host Joanne Avison

This interview with Mina Blair is one that I hope leads you to read her beautiful book "Not for the Last Time" (available on Amazon). Mina, as a mother of two girls, in a corporate world, got on with her life (as any of us do) to manage her family and pay the bills. The book is an exquisite story of the courage to stay with life, whatever happens, finding your way from the inside out. Mina is clear, concise and relentlessly "real" in describing her journey from corporate life, through counceling, to becoming a yoga teacher. We met some of the same teachers along the way, in our respective journeys - and Mina (without being mawkish or dramatising anything) led me back via different routes through so many of the same fears and features of my own story. I didn't put her book down until I had finished it - and I am left in awe of this gorgeous, dedicated woman who knows who she is and yet, every day, lives in wondering what that means on the mat. (For herself and her "mat-chat" clients! Brava Mina! Brava - delighted to know you.SIGN UP TO THE JOANNE AVISON NEWSLETTERSimply scroll down to ‘Join Our Collective’ and pop in your details.
