After working in the insurance business for 34 years, her job was suddenly eliminated. Not knowing what to do next, and after caring for her elderly parents, she was inspired to complete her masters degree in seminary and for the last five years, she has been a hospic hospital chaplain where she provides spiritual emotional and pastoral support to patients and their families facing end-of-life care. She also offers bereavement support and connect familieswith community resources as a community health worker with Henry Ford hospital.
