Interview: Of Methodist (Singapore)
from Asian Pop Radio Hosted by Asian Pop Radio
19 year old electronic singer-producer Of Methodist releases his new single “Sar 21” which, alongside the lead single “Authority”, draws context from the army. “Sar 21” (Singapore Assault Rifle 21st Century) is the sensual and vulnerable follow up to “Authority” with dynamic and constantly evolving atmospheres climaxing into emotive future bass choruses. The tune is the second single from an upcoming full-length record. In this interview (his first radio interview ever), he speaks to Jay John about his music, life in the army and his love of shopping malls. Jenet & Jay John host our flagship Asian pop program from 7pm AEDST Monday to Friday, with their 'best of' shows 10am til noon Saturday and Sundays.
