INTERVIEW: The Clarenville Incident/ Retired RCMP officer James Blackwood talks about the night he witnessed a UFO that lit up the bay/Why did the U.S. Air Force visit him one year later?

James Blackwood.  At around 2 am on the night of October 26, 1978 he received a call that there was a UFO hovering over the bay in Clarenville, Newfoundland.  When Blackwood drove down to the bay he couldn't believe what he was seeing.  A large UFO hovering roughly 100 feet above the water.  For the next two hours Cst. Blackwood and a few civilians watched the craft with binoculars and a telescope.  Over the next two weeks Cst. Blackwood gave interviews on U.S., Canadian and British television and hundreds of newspaper interviews. During this interview Cst.
