Although he has a plethora of accolades under his belt and multiple medals in the highest platforms of competition, from his vantage point, the medals are the result of chasing his real goal - taking his grappling prowess and technical understanding to the highest level possible. Tommy, rather than chasing medals chases growth, and views competition as a tool to advance his progression.
