Interview with Bob Dandridge
from Chasing Hardware Hosted by Rich Lumelleau
At Maggie Walker HS in Richmond, VA, Bob Dandridge followed in the footsteps of Arthur Ashe and Willie Lanier. Amazingly, all 3 would end up in their respective sports' Halls of Fame. In the NBA he paired w/ Kareem Abdul Jabbar (then Lew Alcindor) and Oscar Robertson to win an improbable title for the third year Bucks, and then he returned to the East Coast to win a title with Washington, completing a daunting front line of himself, Elvin Hayes, and Wes Unseld. Terrific stories from the man they called the Greyhound.
