INTERVIEW with Brian J Kramp (Cheap Trick / This Band Has No Past) Music Author

from Know Good Music · host jimandmiketalkmusic

Today I interview author Brian J Kramp who has just released his first book called THIS BAND HAS NO PAST - HOW CHEAP TRICK BECAME CHEAP TRICK. This book covers the time leading up to the forming of the band Cheap Trick and goes up to their 4th album (at Budokan).  This book not only is about Cheap Trick but what was going on during this time period (locally, politically, musically).  So much information is in this book it will blow your mind.  One of the best books about a band I've ever read.   Brian and I talk about the cheap trick, what music he loves, how the book came about and more!  Another great interview.   Brian's book can be purchased through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Target and on  his website (thisbandhasnopast.com).  Brian's website is a place for all things Cheap Trick.. you'll find some great articles and photos not found in the book.   KNOW GOOD MUSIC can be found on Podbean (host site), Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Iheart Radio, Pandora and almost anywhere you listen to podcasts.   Be sure to check out our YouTube Channel for video snippets from our interviews (just search Know Good Music).  Follow and Subscribe to keep up with new podcast releases.   Visit our website at: https://knowgoodmusicpodca.wixsite.com/know-good-music   Thank you for listening!
