Mr. Carolan publishes his thoughts on current markets at pay attention or pay the offer, his blog on carolan.org. This service is the successor to Calendar Research Reports, a more traditional newsletter Chris edited and published for fifteen years. Chris' 1992 book, The Spiral Calendar and Its Effect on Financial Markets and Human Events is the product of his research into the panic phenomenon. In May 1998, Mr. Carolan was honored as the recipient of the 5th annual Charles H. Dow Award for his paper, Autumn Panics: A Calendar Phenomenon. In addition to his research into panics, crashes and various calendar phenomenon, Chris has developed a set of more classicly oriented trading indicators for the Tradestation platform. Signals from this work is an additional feature of his blog. Chris began his Wall St. career on the Pacific Stock Exchange options floor in San Francisco where he was a floor broker and market-maker for eight years. Chris has appeard on CNBC and written for Barrons as well as lectured on various aspects of calendar phenomena in markets.
