On today's program, Jason Drury interviews with one of film music’s most renowned mastering engineers, Chris Malone. His list of album projects includes BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY’S, CASINO ROYALE, TRUE GRIT, the 6 disc La La Land Records set of music from the TV Series MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE, THE TEN COMMANDMENTS for Intrada Records, the mammoth 15 disc set of music from STAR TREK: THE ORIGINAL SERIES and many more. In 2019 Chris Malone was part of the team who helped restore John Williams' score to THE TOWERING INFERNO to its former glory and also worked on the restorations of THE ITALIAN JOB by Qunicy Jones and Ron Goodwin’s score for MONTE CARLO OR BUST. In September 2019, for Cinematic Sound Radio, Jason Drury talked to Chris via Skype in Perth, Australia.
