He started his professional career at IBM Research Zurich where he was working with Jan Camenisch on systems aspects of the Identity Mixer anonymous credential systems, his PhD topic. He started his 11 years stay at IBM Research as a Predoctoral Researcher and moved on to the positions of Research Staff Member and Advisory Project Manager, leading a large international R&D program. He later became Technical Project Manager in a large international R&D project.
