Erin is the mother of two neurodivergent children. Her children both have NF1. NF1 is a common genetic disorder that causes non-cancerous tumors (neurofibromas) to grow on nerves throughout the body. Vision and bone abnormalities are also symptoms along with brown spots on the skin and freckling.
