Born and raised in the Netherlands, Jan moved to Croatia in 2006 and started M+ Group which now employs over 8,000 people across the region. After exiting the company to work on other projects, he founded Webpower Adria – the first company in the region specializing in email marketing automation. As one of the most well-known entrepreneurs in Croatia, Jan is also the marketing director of Digital Nomad Association Croatia and lobbied for the digital nomad visa that Croatia has now implemented.
