Interview with Joe Lo Truglio | Outpost
from Fandom Sessions Hosted by Geek Network
Welcome back to another episode of Fandom Sessions as we sit down with actor, writer, and director Joe Lo Truglio as he discusses his feature film directorial debut for the film 'Outpost". The film which Truglio wrote and directed sees a woman seeking the help of their best friend to escape a violent and abusive ex. This all leads to a fire lookout in the mountains that sees the woman's trauma and PTSD take its toll in isolation. Truglio shares his process of taking on a film of this magnitude and dealing with darker tones than what we have seen him in before as he famously brought laughs to us in much of his previous work including Fox's Brooklyn Nine-Nine. The film premieres this Friday, May 19th, 2023 in select theaters and Video On Demand.
