Hello and welcome to the Daily Beans for Friday, January 3rd, 2020. I’m your host AG and today, a wonderful interview with MSNBC contributor Katie Phang, one of my favorite people. The interview originally aired as part of the Mueller, She Wrote episode called Manafort, Stone and Cohen, Oh My, and it aired February 17th 2019. The Manafort sentencing recommendations had just come out, and Katie and I discuss Tom Barrack, the guy who got Manafort the job with Trump and who would eventually go on to work in Trump’s inaugural which is currently under investigation by the New York attorney general Tish James, and is probably still under investigation in the department of justice.
