Ian welcomes Keith Hutchings of the Comfortable Home Project to the podcast and they start off by introducing what Keith is doing and what the Comfortable Home Project is all about. Keith also explains the difference between design and technology. Keith also mentions some of his most interesting projects. Keith and Ian talk about the possibility of fixing a bad design. Keith and Ian talk a bit about sustainability and Keith shares his thoughts and process of marketing this idea to the people and uses some personal stories to hammer down some of the points. Keith also talks about the two main things or principles to remember when talking about this idea. Ian and Keith then discuss how to choose materials and the properties of each of them and go on to discuss tips on how to choose a house or construct one.
