Interview with Kelly Garni

In this episode of The Living Artist, Preston interviews artist, photographer and "reluctant musician" Kelly Garni. Kelly started his career as a founding member and bassist for the band Quiet Riot (which he played with for their first two albums), before transitioning to a career as an EMT, then photographer and fine artist. Kelly speaks with Preston about his new book Naked Vegas, where he explores the 20 years he spent as a professional photographer in Las Vegas. Kelly also shares stories of his time with Quiet Riot and best friend Randy Rhoads, writing his first book Angels with Dirty Faces, how he got into photography, crazy stories shooting models and escorts, working with found objects from deserted mines and barren lands, shooting 500 weddings, opening up a restaurant and gallery in Nevada, the death of photography, artistic inspiration and much more.
