Interview with Mark Jenkin
from Bad Dads Film Review · host Bad Dads, Mark Jenkin
We were very lucky to be able to sit down with Cornish writer-director-editor Mark Jenkin, multiple BAFTA award winner and receiver of the Philip French Breakthrough Filmmaker award from the London Critics’ Circle Film to discuss his 2019 film BAIT.Mark was so generous with his time and gave us an amazing insight into the films themes and form, the labour of love that is working with physical film and the exceptional cast and community that helped create this incredible work. We also discuss his next movie, Enys Men and in an extraordinary coup we get a guest appearance from BAIT actress Mary Woodvine! The episode finishes with a recommendation for a remarkable double bill that will form the basis of a future Bad Dads episode.
