Mayor Racquel Vasquez is the 1st black female mayor in the county of San Diego, and I had a great talk with her about her journey. She is the mayor of Lemon Grove, CA and dropped so much wisdom as she shared her life's journey. I found out that my dad was one of her top advisors and that she also attends the Rock Church. She spoke a lot about the importance of leadership, serving the community and how to rebound from a NO.
