         Background includes working in the Mental health field for over thirty years. I have the LCSW-R N.Y.S. License. I have worked in Mental Health Clinics and Psychiatric Hospitals throughout N.Y.C., Long Island and Westchester. I have worked with all populations including children, adults, couples and geriatrics. I have worked in Nursing Homes, Runaway Homes for adolescents and in areas of Vocational Rehab, Occupational and Physical Therapy. I have operated a private Mental Health practice since 1990, and have been there providing Psychotherapy on an individual, family and group basis full time since 1997. This is Bear Mountain Counseling Services located in Northern Westchester, in Cortlandt Manor, N.Y   The areas of Treatment that I provide includes the following Diagnoses/symptoms: Anxiety Disorders, Mood Disorders, Psychotic Disorders, Personality Disorders, Substance Abuse Disorders, Impulse-Control Disorders i.e. ADHD and Anger Management problems, adolescent issues, relationship and family conflicts, PTSD and other Stress related Disorders.  I have put a great deal of focus both personally and Professionally into the mind-body connection with my studies and provision of Treatment. I have worked as a Hypnotherapist for over 25 years. I was one of the few Practitioners of Biofeedback Treatment in Westchester from 1991 to 2001, working along with other Medical Providers for Pain Management and Anxiety reduction. I have practiced Yoga for over 30 years, and became a Yoga Instructor in 1988 under the Teaching of the well-known Yoga Master Tao Porchon-Lynch, located in Hartsdale and Scarsdale, N.Y. She is the oldest living Yoga Instructor, I believe she is 99 years old. i have studied Kung Fu for over 25 years, and became an Instructor of this Art in 2004.
