American ultra running legend Mike Wardian has had an illustrious marathon and ultra marthon careeer. He has won the USA national 50km championships three times, podiumed at the World 100km Road Championships in 2009. He has completed Marathon des Sables, the Western States Endurance Run, the Himalayan 100 Mile Stage Race and taken on the mighty Barkley Marathons. In January 2017, Mike set a World Record running seven marathons in seven days on seven continents in a record average speed of 2:45​!
