Nancy Stafford is known to millions as Andy Griffith’s law partner on TV’s Matlock. She has been a series regular on six TV shows, including 5 years on Matlock, 3 years on the NBC Emmy-award winning St. Elsewhere, ABC’s Sidekicks and the NBC daytime drama The Doctors. Her 25+ episodic roles include a recurring role the last two seasons of ABC’s Scandal. Her films include the lead role in the newly released romantic comedy First Lady, and upcoming thriller Love by Drowning and TV series Eleanor’s Bench. Films currently streaming include Faith, Hope & Love, Heritage Falls, Heaven Bound, and I’m Not Ashamed-the story of Rachel Joy Scott, the first student killed in the Columbine shooting. And Hallmark holiday favorites include Christmas with a Capital C, Christmas for a Dollar, and Christmas Oranges. Her short film Common Threads won Best Film at 2017 California Women’s Film Festival. Her directing debut, Damaged Goods, a feature film in collaboration with Asbury University, will be soon be released and she is in pre-production on the feature film Grace, a female frontier missionary in the 1800s. As a producer/writer she is in development with a slate of TV projects and feature films. Nancy is the author of two best-selling books published by Penguin Random House.
