Interview with Taylor White

In this episode of The Living Artist, Preston speaks with North Carolina based artist Taylor White. Taylor's figurative work is bold, kinetic, and semi-abstract, combining "refined techniques of classical training with bright, unexpected color choices born from the residue of street art and pop culture". Taylor is perhaps best known for her energetic and vibrant commercial and non-commercial mural work. In this episode, Taylor speaks with Preston about her new and on-going solo exhibition "Pursuit Of Happiness", making sales and dealing with the public, hiring and training her own staff, her origins working in both Norway and Australia, Augmented Reality and NFTs in the art world, dealing with accountability and distraction, the progression to becoming a professional artist, focusing on the work and not making every gig so precious, advice to her younger self, and much much more.
