Hello everyone, this is Sylvia from the Daily Whiz Sostein, now through Spotify for Podcasters. Welcome, happy Saturday, good afternoon. Hope you're all having a great start to your Saturday. Today on the show, we have the amazing Lori Fontaness, author Lori Fontaness.
We're going to be re-recording the show we tried to do Tuesday, but we had some technical difficulties. Hopefully she'll be logging in pretty soon, but welcome to the Daily Whiz Sostein, where we also present the coffee chronicles because it all begins with coffee. And my shirt says, you know, all you need is what? Love it.
Coffee. Good afternoon everyone. I hope everyone's having a fantastic start to their Saturday, as I mentioned. I am Sylvia from the Daily part in the hair.
I'm recording through Riverside, who is also now, we can do recordings, and we can do not just audio, but also video recordings with Riverside. So shout out to Riverside Podcast for allowing us to do that now. And I really do appreciate all the love I've had for the podcast of the Daily Whiz Sostein. I came back in August and tried to do now, it's going to be five shows.
I'm going to try to do four, between four or five shows a month on the podcast, of course. My letter is, if you have not subscribed to it, I will put the link there so you can subscribe. You can also subscribe to the podcast. And I hope that you join me for the Daily Whiz Sostein through Spotify for Podcasters, where I talk about books, coffee, author interviews, my own author journey, and I'm just waiting on Lori.
And hopefully she'll be logging in pretty soon. And I'm very excited because this is my first interview with an author in a while. And Lori is a good friend, she's from West Virginia, you'll get to know more about her and her books, and I'm excited to talk about that. And I'm in a new location right now, this is the garage where my husband's man cave, that's what he calls it, and I call him the bat cave.
And I'm recording here because it gets really noisy, it's not noisy today because there's people next door working on their stuff, but normally it's quiet during the week. And I'm back at work at school, so everything's good. And I'm just waiting to see what Lori's going to be logging in soon. I don't know if she has some other technical issues, so trying to see.
I'm texting her right now. Okay, here it is. There she is. There she is.
I have to do this on my cell phone because everything else is not working. Okay, I'm sorry. All right. Okay.
I hope this comes out. You're kind of sideways. Okay, there you go. And I'm trying to take this off from here.
And it's okay. There she is. Hey, Lori. Hey, welcome.
Welcome to the daily with so Stein through Spotify for podcasters. This is author Lori Fontanest, and I was telling everyone that we tried to do the show on Tuesday. It sounded like everything had gone well. We talked a lot of a lot of good stuff.
I was just saying we had technical difficulties, but now I'm going into more of the details. And when I uploaded it, we only got five minutes and you are a little blurry again. So I don't know if you can adjust your phone because I don't want the same situation that happened. That's not going to happen again.
Yeah. Are you there? I can't hear you. Yeah, I can hear you now, but it sounds a little fuzzy.
And that's what happened last time. I remember I was hearing a noise and I just don't want it to turn into where we're not recording. You're not on the video like last time. So I'm trying to adjust here.
So you couldn't get in on your laptop or your right? No. Nope. Not using the other email.
Okay. Well, I really hope it. I don't know if this will help on the noise reduction. I'm trying to see what I can do on my end.
Okay. I don't hear anything. You don't hear anything? No.
Well, it's probably because of the phone. You want to try logging out and logging back in. Yeah. Yeah.
With the same. Hold on. Yeah. Is there because I'm outside.
I'm in where Jeremy's garage is because their noise was inside was a little more and I want to make sure you're good. So we're still having technical difficulties. Everyone. Thank you for being patient on the daily whistles sign through Spotify for podcasters.
Hopefully Lori will be able to log in. If not, I may have to retry it on my phone and see if I can get her in through there. She'll be back in in a moment. But for now.
There she is. Let's see. All right. Lori, you're back.
Okay. Let me take this off. Okay. Do you hear me better?
I do hear you better. Okay. It says actual record is higher quality. Okay.
So hopefully we'll be okay today. Well, welcome to the show. Lori, want to tell the audience or the people that are listening where you're from and your name, where you're from and all that and how you got your start with writing. So I.
And your sound is out again again. You're in and out. I'll just say closer to the. So I live in a small town in West Virginia called.
And I got my writing from. I did a short I did a short story. Okay. And it was accepted.
And so it just went from there and then started doing different anthologies. And then I decided to write one of my four that went from there. But I had always, I had always written things like in high school and things. Okay.
I just, I just never thought that I would ever be a writer. I was just stories. Just a series that you wanted to write that like basically things on your mind that you wanted to take, like make into like something. Right?
Yeah. Can you put down? Sorry. I don't need to sound bossy.
But that way we can see you. Can you see me? Yeah. We see you a little blurry.
So hopefully once I edit the video, hopefully it'll be. Yeah. It's almost like your internet is like like shoddy right now. Yeah.
My internet seems to be working. Okay. You're kind of a little bit blurry too. So it could be both our ends.
I don't know. Right. I see myself clear right now. But then again, like hopefully when we edit it, it'll be good.
I don't hear no noise. So I hope that's a good thing. If we're a little bit blurry, he's rather than I would take that over the noise. Right.
But no, that's interesting. So, so you say you never wanted. You never thought you'd be a writer. But when was that moment for you where you said, okay, these, you know, I'm writing these stories.
When did you feel like, okay, I think there's more to this? When I got accepted on that first angel of anthology. I thought, okay, so this is something because, you know, I've never put any of my writings out there. And so the story that I ever did and got accepted, I was like, oh, I got something going on here.
I didn't think I was talented at all. But you know, we're all hard on each other. We're all hard on ourselves. Yes.
Yes. Yes. That was your sound went out now. I'm going out.
Yeah. Now for the last part, you said kind of went in and out. Oh, okay. So I, I just thought that I would just start writing and see where it went.
Yeah. That's good. That's good. That's very, a lot of us start off like we're not really sure.
You know, we want to write. I've wanted to write since I was a kid. My mom says I was always trying to do stories and stuff like that. But you couldn't get me out of the library.
Was that something also that happened to you where you just wanted to read or be in the library with a book? Yeah, when when that was in the Navy. So we traveled all over the place and the first place that I would find on my bicycle when we would, you know, get unpacking everything, get my bike out. The first thing I would do is find the library.
That was like your place. That was my place. That was my happy place. Do you remember?
Yeah. Sorry. What type of books? Sorry.
I didn't mean to interrupt. What type of books did you gravitate to or was it all kinds? It was basically all kinds mostly mystery. Okay.
Yeah, Nancy, like Nancy Drew. I read every single one of her books. Yeah. So what was like?
Like, did you know then what you know now that you wanted to write that kind of story thriller horror genre? Yeah. Was that like your thing? That was my thing.
That's always going to be my thing. That's good. That's good. Because we all like, you know, there's a lot of writers as you know that your favorite writers that you see like where they come up with these stories.
Like I know that when I first, you know, read back in the day, the Harper Lee to kill a Mockingbird. She had, you know, she wrote what she knew that the area where she was from. So she created that town. I believe it was in Alabama.
But she created that town from what where she grew up and wrote about, you know, that stage, even though some people get horrified because that's like a book that now they're trying to take off from the schools. Yeah. They're trying to ban that book. For me.
I love the books I grew up with. I'll never apologize for reading them because they made her for who they are, right? They're like, you have your favorite authors. Like Nancy Drew.
I went from Harper Lee to Nancy Drew to, you know, Scott Fitzgerald. Yeah, it was Alan Cole. Yeah, it grew Alan Cole. I mean, it grew Alan Cole had more darker size and you had, of course, you know, then, you know, you have all these other authors that wrote up.
Like, what are other authors that you kind of wanted to like read about as you got older. So there was Stephen King, of course, and Patterson and. Yeah, yeah, there was there was different ones. I can't think of what her name is, but all of her books start with like the alphabet.
A is for something or, you know, something like that, but I can't remember what her name is. That's it. I got the Christie. Yep.
Yep. She was always Agatha Christie was like, you know, one of the first, I want to say real thriller books that I would read because then they were non she would, you know, and now I don't know you've heard of her, but Ruth Ware, if you read Ruth Ware, you kind of see the parallel of Agatha Christie and like little, you know, little Easter eggs, you want to say. Right. But, you know, there's this kind of similar, but it's more modern times, but you know, it's almost like she's been called like the Agatha Christie of her time.
And then, of course, you have these other type of thrillers. They're more like, I think it's, you met her. I can't think of her name Janet Ivanovich. Yeah, Janet Ivanovich.
Yeah. Her books are her. She has the Stephanie Plum. Yeah.
We all wanted to be Stephanie Plum. It's like, you know, I'm Stephanie Plum. Right. Because the things that I do, even around here and not even going outside, you know, the different things that she'd get her hands and stuff stuck to, it's hilarious.
And that, I'm Stephanie Plum. I've always been Stephanie Plum. Yes. Exactly.
Like we, we gravitate to these certain genres that we write. Like I've written a new adult fiction, but now I'm working on a thriller which I've been working on for a long time. And now you come up with your own books. So can you, you know, we've been talking about all these authors, but what are your books?
I know you've written anthologies which got you started. But when did you say like, well, I'm going to start writing my own books and you know, you have three now, right? I believe you have three of my own books. Yeah.
Because if you count Stalker, there's two books in one. Yeah. Tell us all about your books. So my first one was classes of phantoms.
And I hadn't, I hadn't written some anthologies that weren't accepted. So I just put them in a book of my own and had my own little Fox story anthology book. And you edited that. But you did a fantastic job on.
My editor name because I don't have people wanting to message me. Yeah. So we didn't do that. So, so then after I did that, I think I was already working on Stalker when that came out.
Yes. And I had taken it. It had been published, but only on ebook because it was so little that it couldn't be, you know, paper form. So when I had taken that down and left the publishing company, I got my rights back to the book.
Yes. Unedited, of course. And so I started, I was already working on Stalker too. Yeah.
So it took like three years to get Stalker to together and to get to get the story straight, you know, to figure out the figure out how I got in the mind of the killer. I had to get my mind. And you did. Was I giving any spoilers?
I'm like, wow. Yeah. When you messes me and was like, you got into the mind of the killer. I'm like, that's exactly what I need.
They're not make you mad. No, but it was it funny. Like when you were doing the research for it, I always find it funny. When you're doing research and you're looking up all these things.
And you make sure you put four research of book because nowadays people probably gonna think what's on her web browser. Oh my God. If somebody would come in and look at my web browser, I'm definitely going to show. Like I had to research like how much blood we have in our bodies that we can do.
Yeah, you had to go full. Yeah, you had to description because you're writing. You know, this book is so interesting. Like you had, like you said, Francis of Phantom, which is your collection of all your anthologies.
I'm sorry. Stories that didn't make the anthologies. And there are some pretty really good ones in there that I believe can be another book for you. Yeah, I could.
There's three stories in that one that I could I could definitely definitely make a make books out of. Or they can be horror flicks because next or other places that you know that I mean you see these these horror flicks that are about the smile someone has on my Lori's got better stories than that. No offense, but you know, I read your stories and then there's some very emotional ones. Yeah, the first one.
The first one was very emotional and it basically was my ex husband who's now deceased and that was hard for you. It was very hard for me to write that one. But you know, some of the stuff in that one is made up, but most of it was it was very. I'm surprised.
I'm actually surprised I'm alive with that one. When you wrote that one from the moment I started reading is it dark eyes is it. Yeah. Yeah.
I had a monster in that which is the abuser. Yeah. I mean, because domestic violence is is very, very hard. And my mother went through her own experience.
Everybody has their own. And you know, for all the people that have gone through that, my heart goes out to you and whomever it may be because that is something I worked with women that went through that back home back in the day. And that is never easy. And no, it's not.
That story brought like I hope it now brought you closure because I know that he's now. It did, but he always told me that he was Satan and know my every move. So since he's dead, you know, I'm like, is he a ghost now? Is he still haunting me?
You know, it's just it's just a weird feeling. So much. So much. You can go to the mall and not have to worry about him looking at you or trying to find you or I just never felt safe while he was on on.
And then, well, I mean, karma does come back. I'm not wishing any. But like I said, I hope that you found that forgiveness for yourself, not because that way you can start healing because that that couldn't have been easy for you. And I'm sorry that especially, you know, knowing that I live in a place and in my story, I don't have any kids, but I had one during that during that time.
And I didn't add her into the book, but there was there was a time in that story that he did break into my house and was living in my attic and I had no idea. And when he came down out of that when he came down out of there, I didn't know what to I didn't know. I couldn't even run fast enough. Like there was no way.
And I am glad that that that now you have James. Yeah, I have my husband and he is my little rock. Yeah, yeah, because there are women out there. Trust me, I know I'm very grateful.
Yeah, I'm glad that you have Jeremy. You have your Jeremy like I have my James. Right. And for is not a day that could go by that I would would ever want him to leave her or you know, or anything.
He puts up with me and because I'm a lot. I am completely a lot. And and like Jesus says, I'm enough. I am enough.
And you are and you are, Lori, you've been a really good friend. We've known Lori and I go back since I think it's 2016 when I met Lori. I was in I was an intern kind of for a stitch smile publication, shout out to all of them and Lisa Vasquez and all of them wishing them well. And I met Lori because Lori was one of the authors that I had to edit for or start editing for and she would call me sly.
Is that you? Yeah, I still remember sly is that you? And she was always very friendly and she's been a really good friend. I consider her family because she's when I went through my worst moment in 2017 with a loss of a dear friend who was like a sister to me.
I was on the phone with her editing her stories and Lori checked up on me when you know when I found out she had passed and Lori's always like whenever we go through different things in our life and our moments, personal stuff, she's always the one to reach out and send messages. She may be in West Virginia, but I feel like she's always here checks in on us all the time. I'm next door. Yeah.
And she's like my daughter lost a rock when she was younger. She loved Connie, Junior and and Lori quickly send a gift out. She didn't have to. I was like, no, you don't have to.
And Connie met, you know, named her rocks and that was so happy. Lori made her day by doing all that. Like, she's just that friend who's like, you're going through something. There's Lori, even though she's going through her own stuff.
She never lets you down. She's always there. So thank you, Lori. I appreciate that.
Do you want to make me cry on? I know it's a crying Saturday. We're making a lifetime. You're making me emotional.
I consider your kids. I feel like I'm their aunt. You know, I can look at the other day. That's anti Lori.
Anti Lori sent another package. I've always sent a lot of her birthday stuff and yes, you're very considerate. Very, very, always have been. And she's a aside from being a wonderful author.
She's a really good craft. She's her and her craft. She's very good at crafting. You were a teacher.
You probably have a lot of crafts in your room or may or you'd be a good assistant. Like an I. A people would love to see her. I.
A people would love to have you because you're that one person that knows how to. You're creative and aside from the writing, you have other outlets that you do. I'm studying in my craft room right now. Oh, yeah.
I saw the picture you had sent where you got your own, like your printer. There she is. Got a printer and her like her. Like your own little she shed.
Yes, it's my she shed. Jeremy has his man cave. I'm in his man cave right now. I call it the bat cave.
I have the the cricket sitting on that side over there and I just got an engraver that I'm learning how to use. Nice. So my crafting just got a little easier. That's awesome.
That's awesome. So and then my friend my best friend Tiffany and I are making candles and that's an experience that I've never had gotten to do before. And so I put that which candle on Facebook the other day and somebody already bought it. Nice.
Yeah, but I'm glad you have that because you're not really you say you're not really going out. I know you've had some health issues you're trying to work on and I hope that you look like you're feeling good and I'm having a decent day today. I'm having some problems with my liver and and I'm going to Cleveland on September the 3rd. They say I have third stage fatty liver disease and and I'm like I weigh 111 pounds.
I know someone that weighs 100 pounds. See, you can't release. You don't know people saying you have to be overweight. That's never a good thing.
The same thing as somebody having one disease that never smoked before so you know things happen. Things happen. We just need to stop labeling people's things that they're fighting through because we don't know what their story is. And I find a lot of depression and anxiety a lot of depression, you know I put myself out of dark place a lot of times and that's that's really super hard as well.
You know to pull yourself if you can pull yourself out by yourself. You're you're you're you're champion. and I think Laurie what you should do because I know you talked to a therapist and you dealt with I think you should write like your own memoir one day just so you can kind of help others because I think that's very important. We don't have enough people talking about real like real life stuff from from from wherever they started.
I know you're you're right horror and you know that's your element but it's also helpful to work on maybe possibly jotting these things out because I know there's people out there that might not want to share their stuff your own experience that you should you had maybe you can help that one person or more than one person with I would I would help anybody that I could like if somebody was on the ledge I do believe that I would try my best to get them off. Yeah and you do for people that you help out like you know you're your your caregiver your caregiver but you help out like I know you said that when you you had to get rid of all the good stuff that you couldn't eat you gave it you helped other people you know like whatever you can. Yeah I gave a whole big box full of food to our neighbor so they they totally appreciate it and we've done a lot for them you know giving them mattresses, teavings whatever you know whatever we're not using I'll call her first. I mean that's what it's about you know I've had people donate stuff like because they want to and if I could do the same if things were good same thing that's what it's about helping that your neighbor because God put us on this earth to help others be be there for each other and not spread so much hate towards the world.
What were his servants? Yeah right. Yes we are that's what we're here to do humble ourselves to be not to be first but to be last to be last. A lot of times people don't expect anything in return you know I don't know anything that's like oh well I did this and I did that.
I'm not if you float about it then you're doing it for the wrong reason. Exactly that's not what we're here to do exactly. I just find this podcast for me it's about talking with my friend you know with my you know family and that and you said it best when we had that technical difficulties well I just like it because like we get to talk more you know you know we get to have a little chat since we get so busy sometimes we don't really talk and and also to spread you know happiness like so people can forget about all this political stuff just worry about other things that have nothing to do with that. Exactly I don't like Facebook for that reason because it's getting way too political and it's it's getting Facebook is getting very ridiculous.
Yeah it is it's just too much drama going on everywhere you want to spread other things that are about books that you love to read authors that you need to get to know and sharing your books and stories. So on that note you need to look up Colin Emory he's a new writer. Oh yeah Colin Emory you had told me. He wrote and I still I had the name of his book right on the tip of my tongue it one way but he is somebody that you should look at.
I mean when I read that book and I thought oh my god we put a stalker book out at the same time and I can see us writing a book together. I can see it. You said you had similar writing styles correct. Well you do like I felt like I helped him write that book.
Wow isn't that funny like you'll get ideas and you're just like wait how did you know. Yeah but he he's a fascinating writer and this was his first book ever that he put out and I'm like hurry up on the second one because he left me hanging. Wow that's awesome. That's yeah I can't wait for his new book.
I can't wait either that sounds like something I definitely will keep him in mind and maybe we'll have another interview in September or something. Yeah and then Sandra Eli sent me a metacopathy of her new book and wow I didn't know that she could write a chilling book like she's writing. Wow I'm very very impressed. And she's like right now you've got me intrigued like hmm that's interesting.
Yeah. So Sandra Eli we're gonna talk soon about a possible podcast in September, October. I'll keep you in mind and Colin Emory as well. Yeah definitely.
Like I said she's she never like you're seeing it now. She never really talks more about herself. She's always plugging more other people and really really walks that walk. I was gonna ask you now about your book.
I know you told us blasits of phantom the closet and now your newest book. Yeah well there's the there's the closet. Yeah that's my normal. Who's the person responsible for your covers?
You know I think that I can't remember what to do with this. It's been so long. And I was looking inside to see if like did I put his name in here and I didn't. Okay.
But I don't want her Becky Naren or Becky Naren or me the other ones. Yeah Becky Naren did my cover on this one. And and Ed Sauer and Kendra did the editing and he did the formatting. He also did some he also did some of the he went back through and was like doing some other editing too but this has both stories and one and two.
So it it turned out really good and I like how he divided the book like here comes Stalker 2. He made it like you know like that. Yeah and the Stalker 2. Okay and then there's like a road.
Yeah. Yeah. Nice. Yeah I like it.
But tell us tell us where you started with that story because I know like myself I let the characters carry the story. Was that the same for you and what is your writing style? Like what's typically how you write? Typically I typically I used to go an outline until the closet messed me up because the characters took way over.
So this one Stalker I just let I just let the characters go and let them write the story. Okay. There was nothing wrote down. The only thing I had to write down was the characters names and who they were related to and things like that.
But other than that it was just a free writing. Yeah. You just came up with a story and the plot everything. Yep.
As I went along. And can we see do you have it on you because I don't want to have to make you get that little typewriter that James got you that you take with you when you go to the restaurant? Free write. Free write.
Free write. Was that expensive? I remember I asked you less than. It was like five hundred dollars.
Okay. Way to go James. I know right. But I need to I need to charge it too.
But it's got just that little little thing on there with the keypad and then you send it right to your computer. Wow. That's awesome. So yeah you you you take it out of your box and send it to there and it stores it and then when you're ready to send it back you just hit the send button that goes back to your computer.
Wow. That's awesome. That's that's I like that. I really love it because if he's going to a restaurant or something and we're eating he's always on his phone playing solitary or something.
And so I just take this with me and and I write and you know that some of the some of the waitresses will be like you know I'm like hey I'm your local author you know I'm just writing another story here and you know they're like oh what are you right and I'm telling them and they're like oh and they write their name down and then they order my book. No that's awesome. That's how you plug yourself. I plugged myself in that day.
That's awesome. That's awesome. Because one of the waiters was like I'd never met a writer before and you shook my hand and make me feel like I was like a famous writer you know. Well you know I'm not in their eyes you are and you know you should be proud of your humble you know you're very humble obviously no matter what what comes your way you're always be the same Laurie because you grew up with humble beginnings and but I was going to say if authors wanted to connect with you what is the best way to connect with you?
So I have I'm on Facebook but I also have an author page on Facebook it's author Laurie Fontenas and then Laurie is L O R I and then Fontenas F O N T A N E Z right? Yep yeah and then and they can email me too. Laurie Fontenas at gmail.com get there you know want to they have a question or whatever you know and your book is on Amazon right? All my books are on Amazon.
Starburst the only one is on Kobo. Kobo is K O B O but soon to be locally everywhere else but you also can find you in the libraries correct? Yes I'm in the local libraries here. I have a thing coming up in September with the library in Bridgeport which is like 30 minutes away from us so I'll be there with like 14 different authors again.
Yes that's awesome. Yeah so that'll be good. My one of my friends Colleen Driscoll she writes children's stories and so we always sit together you know because she's got a couple of her own she writes children's books and she goes to the schools and things and and reads to the kids with her books and so now she's got two two of her own novels out so we always like try to sit together when we're nice. That's awesome.
Another Colleen like Colleen Hoover who came out with it ends with us it begins with and now it begins it ends with us and then her other book it starts with us but she's got many other books that those good books as well. I read those and I know you recently met who's also from West Virginia remember the author Casey Bond right? Yeah I met Casey Bonds that was that was so freaking awesome you can finally meet her. I mean it made my day.
Yeah she's so sweet and she also lives like out in the country like I do so thank you. I never know that. I know I met a lot of them when I went to the Westlake book bash or I think it was I think I want to say oh I don't know I think I'm saying it wrong or Lake what was it called? The book events in Michigan.
Great Lake sorry Jeremy. The executive producer Great Lakes book bash and I'm kind of with Lake and I am Rachel Bronwell and Casey Bond and all of them they were in that event it was really fun it was really fun. Yeah I saw the picture. I had signed up like and that was a year my friend passed so I didn't know if I was in that mindset but going there then becoming a substitute later that year I think that's what actually pushed me towards working as a sub at school because the kids were you know little and then I you know wanted to find something else to do after teaching then I became a sub everywhere else and then soon a building sub and this is my fifth year as a building sub.
That's awesome. Yeah and it's the same school and I love it. Yeah I would I would have loved had you when I was younger as a teacher. But there there was so many teachers that I had with that moving around every two or three years some of the schools that we would go to do I would they would either be way ahead of what I learned or way behind of what I already.
Yeah it's hard when you're moving because he wasn't the military right you're dead. Yeah yeah my dad was in the Navy. Yeah so that and it makes it hard also to bond with people because you're moving all the time. Yeah and I'm friends with some a few I'm still friends with a few of people that I met when I lived in Puerto Rico and so we still are connected.
I think there might be two or three. Okay. Yeah but I mean that's as good but it's also it's hard because I know that they struggled as well as I did in school. I struggled in school.
I didn't want to be there at all because I just felt like I wasn't learning. I know that I had a learning disability. No you're good sorry that means to do that I put like a like a dramatic way. I found it did it at that time sorry.
It was perfect but yeah I'm sure that I have a learning disability. Hey you know everybody's you know works like school is not like it doesn't mean that school's not important it is but you found your calling and your writing and your crafts and your great person and you can do just about anything so never like always affirm yourself because you're doing you're doing everything that you can and a lot of times back in our day they didn't have all the things they have now to tell you that this is like what you had or didn't have. Yeah. Friends that probably had a type of learning disability and they never got diagnosed because it wasn't any of that.
What's on a thing then? Yeah. But I do my daily affirmations affirmations affirmations affirmations. You thought of a new word.
Yeah I do that every morning to let myself okay. It's okay the dictionary according to Laurie. You never know I'm just pronounced words terribly. No you're fine.
I just I just say I have an accent and I try to get away with that. Yeah I have my own accent. Anyway but no I was going to say it's been a pleasure having you. Now before you go I want you to read a excerpt or the back of your stock or just to get people more into what you're doing and then hopefully this recording went through.
Yes I think it did a lot better because I'm not hearing any of the noise like we did. I mean either. So it says on the back it says evil is loose in a small town even the police are at loss. Gloria and Carl have a terrible marriage but once in love now they despise each other after the loss of their stillborn child.
They go out but not together and Gloria gets a drink thrown in her face. That's a long that's that's a good part of the story right there. Okay she calls Carl but he refuses to go and get her so she calls a cab. She gets in but realizes the cab's going in the wrong direction.
