Frank and Ashwin discuss Simeone's playing career including his early days at Pisa, his subsequent move to Spain with Atlético Madrid and time in Italy with Inter Milan and Lazio. Ashwin talks about the beginnings of Simeone's management career with Catania, the influence Italy has had on his managerial traits and characteristics, and the evolution of the Argentinean's management style on and off the field.
