Vinnie Nauheimer was born and raised in the Bronx and now resides in Westchester County. He holds a BBA from Iona College, a Master’s in Education from Mercy College and a Post Graduate Certificate of Studies from Pace University in Autism and Severe Multiple Disabilities. He is and has been a tireless advocate for children who have been abused for almost twenty years with his focus primarily on those who suffered at the hands of Clergy. Vinnie is an artist, poet and writer who has brought all of his talents to bear on the subject of clergy abuse. His artwork which candidly addresses the issue, can be found on websites from Australia to Europe. He has written a play, published two books and is looking forward to finishing his book of essays on clergy abuse called “God Damn Bishops and Priests” which is a living history of his fight against clergy abuse and those who have allowed it to flourish in the Roman Catholic Church.  His last book, Epistles on Clergy Abuse written in 2006 is still available online in print or as an e-book. Vinnie also hosts two pages: The Clergy Abuse Art Collection and The Forty Theses Against Clergy Abuse on Facebook.
