Interview with Washington DC-Based Goth, Darkwave Band, THE NEURO FARM

from DJ Nocturna Presents Queen of Wands · host DJ Nocturna

This was my interview with Washington DC-based darkwave gothic rock band called The Neuro Farm when they released their album entitled "VOICES" The project The Neuro Farm was formed when Brian Wolff met Rebekah Feng while in graduate school at Georgetown University working on their PhDs in neuroscience around 2011.  While they were both also working on their own  solo musical  projects at the time, they both shared a common interest in the neurosciences and in the darker genre of music.  In 2017 Colin in drums and percussion (DreamrD)  joined the band and Tim Phillips  in synths and programming  joined them in 2021.  Their latest singles are out now: Metamorphosis and Panic. On October 31, 2022 they released one of the best covers I have ever heard of the Joy Division's New Dawn Fades. The Neuro Farm has released four full-length original albums so far: Vampyre (2021), The Descent (2019), and Ghosts (2014) . Their 4th album,  Voices was released in 2024.   Please share this interview, like and subscribe.  Thank you for your support !https://www.theneurofarm.comhttps://theneurofarm.bandcamp.com
