Interviewing an Inmate about Addiction, Recovery and "EFT Tapping" to Process Emotions!

from disSOLViNG Fear · host Alissa Shirk

SEASON 2, Episode 1 Welcome to disSOLViNG fear with Miss Alissa, where fear doesn't run the show, YOU do! www.missalissa.com In this episode, my guests include inmate Jennifer Hughes, Sheriff Karl Leonard, and HARP program manager Bailey Hilliard, MSW. HARP stands for Helping Addicts Recover Progressively, and one important component of the HARP program is EFT Tapping, also known as "tapping." Simple and effective! Studies at Harvard have shown that "tapping" helps people defuse many types of explosive, overwhelming, and painful emotions. Tapping can help us all whenever we're emotionally triggered and want to get grounded. Tapping is a tool that anyone can use (kids, adults, inmates, anyone). YOU can use tapping to regulate your nervous system, disSOLVE stuck emotions, and feel more grounded - just by tapping a series of points on the body! Join us for some laughs, authentic conversation, plus a guided EFT tapping session right here in this episode! Timestamps & Quotes: (00:45) Talking with Bailey and Jennifer about addiction, HARP, and the singer Jelly Roll's visit to their jail.
